The prestigious Galéries Lafayette have a new addition to their array of luxury brands – but only for a little while.
To celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the Galéries, Miu Miu unveiled today a new pop-up store designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi. Located right at the entrance, the new temporary corner has its outside covered in diamond-textured glass and is decorated with bright portraits of the Resort 2013 collection.
Inside, the sophisticated interior is very similar to the one found on every official Miu Miu store, with furniture reminiscent of 19th century cafés and European palaces, the mannequins relaxing as they showcase the brand’s newest collection.
The Miu Miu pop-up store at the Galéries Lafayette will only remain open until December 1st, so if you’re in or around Paris take some time to check it out.
ah, i love miu miu, wish i could be in paris right now…. but why is it open only until december 1st?

I don’t know; seems a bit like a waste to me, it’s a beautifully-designed store. Then again, all pop-up stores are short-lived. Hopefully it will lead to the opening of a brand new official Miu Miu at the Galéries :)
