It’s that time of the year again! No, not Christmas, school project season.
We were told to do logo research and come up with a new logo, title and look for a fashion-related (meaning not strictly fashion) magazine. Most magazines (Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, etc) use some variant of the Bodoni font and the magazine I worked with used Didot, so I tried to think of more flashy, less classic fonts that could also be somehow reinterpreted. Eventually I found one I liked, sliced the letters in half and shifted them. It’s readable, but not too readable, and colour/stroke can be changed to easily accommodate the cover image.
