Paris #6 – La Seine

Ending the Paris 35mm series with a bang, here are some of my favourite shots of the riverbanks and two bonus (the Avenue de L’Opera and a walk along some park gates).

This was a wonderful trip and I had a ridiculous amount fun and ate a ridiculous amount of food and spent a ridiculous amount of money (on food). I did not buy any souvenirs because I don’t need a €5 keychain with a plastic miniature of the Tour Eiffel to remind me of the great, sunny, lazy days I spent just walking around and enjoying the city without worrying about doing too many touristy things. Really, we mainly just ate, walked and stared at architecture a lot. The only proper cultural trips were Notre Dame and the Musée D’Orsay (where I lost my glasses and Gabri had a delicious hot chocolate with an absolutely monumental amount of whipped cream on top):

From my Instagram: Look at this happy boy and his hot chocolate!

That being said, here are the pictures. I also have a ton of them that I took with my little digital camera so if anyone is up for that I might post them. Please leave a comment below if you would like me to do so!

  1. Ah, Paris! Never been there, but posts like this really make me wanna go! Any chance you took a couple of photos of architecture up close? I enjoy those shots a lot, like looking at the small details that adorn some random house or shed in a faraway place.

    • Paris is a beautiful city and you always leave feeling like you didn’t even begin to see what it had to offer.

I did a whole series on Paris! If you check my “Travels” category on the top of the blog they’re all going to be there :) There’s a post on Architecture and a couple on details and textures ;)
