Back in early December, before going home for the holidays, I managed to hop to London for a day trip. Since Caterina had to go there for a project of hers, she asked me if I wanted to tag along so we could raid the Charlotte Tilbury counter at Selfridge’s together (and yes, I will make a post of my CT makeup collection soon, just waiting for my lighting kit to arrive so I can take proper pictures) and I promptly said ‘hell yes!’. Because, well, London and makeup.
While she did her thing, however, I had some time to walk around and snap a couple of pictures of the Christmas lights before it got too dark for my 160ISO film.

The annual Covent Garden Christmas tree

Can you see me?

The beautiful decorations inside Covent Garden market.

A close-up of the bows and lights hanging from the market glass ceiling.

Seven Dials… bravo, London; you made a pun out of your neighbourhood.

Gorgeous, vibrant red autumn leaves.

Absolutely beautiful statue, very art-nouveau, exactly how I like my decor.

What’s not to love about breathtaking architecture paired with great typography?

A view of Liberty, probably my favourite shop in London.

Can’t beat the Liberty logo and façade.

Great, quirky light-up metal sign plus a very nicely dressed young lady.

Carnaby Street Christmas lights! Enough said!
